Email us at hello@silvervistapro.com. Corrections are the most useful mail we get. What we can and cannot help with, and how long we take to reply.

The quickest way to reach us is email: hello@silvervistapro.com. We read everything that arrives and reply to most of it within three to five business days, though it can take longer over summer.
What we can help with
Corrections. These are the most useful messages we get. If a figure on this site is wrong, if two pages contradict each other, or if something is written unclearly enough to mislead, please tell us. Include the page address if you can. We check corrections against our sources, fix what needs fixing, and update the review date on the page.
Suggestions for coverage. If there is a plant group, a soil problem or a seasonal question that this site should cover and does not, we would like to know. We cannot promise to add everything, but the gaps readers point out are how the site has grown.
Questions about how the site works. How the plant finder filters, why a saved list has disappeared, whether the seasonal checklist syncs between devices — those we can answer directly.
What we cannot help with
Diagnosing individual plants. We cannot work out why a particular shrub is dying from an email and a photograph. Doing it responsibly needs someone who can see the site, the soil, the drainage and the plant, and a confident guess from the other side of the country is worth less than no answer at all. What we can do is point you to the page here that covers the underlying question, which is usually watering, drainage or position.
Chemical recommendations. This site does not cover pesticides, herbicides, fungicides or insecticides in any form, and we will not make recommendations by email either.
Anything about health or edibility. We make no health, medicinal or nutritional claims about any plant, and we do not advise on foraging or on whether anything is safe to eat.
Permits, restrictions and council processes. Watering restrictions, tree removal approvals and planting rules near boundaries are set locally and change. Your council or water authority is the correct source, and they are the only one that will be current.
Commercial approaches. We do not accept sponsored content, paid placement, guest posts, link exchanges or affiliate arrangements, and we do not name suppliers as recommendations. Messages of that kind are read and not replied to.
Where we are
Silver Vista is written and maintained from Bendigo, Victoria, with contributors in the Adelaide Hills, South Australia, and Cairns, Queensland. We work by email rather than from a public office, so there is no address to visit and no phone line — a three-person reference does not have a switchboard, and we would rather say that plainly than publish a number nobody answers.
Typical response time is three to five business days. Corrections are usually actioned faster than that, because they are quick to check and worth fixing quickly.
Send a message
Silver Vista is a static site with no server behind it, so this form cannot transmit anything and nothing you type here leaves your browser. It is here to help you organise what you want to say and to check that the details are complete. When you are done, please copy the text and email it to hello@silvervistapro.com. We would rather tell you this than show a fake confirmation message.
Privacy
Because there is no server, nothing typed into the form above is transmitted, stored or logged anywhere. The only data this site keeps is what you choose to save in your own browser: the plant finder shortlist, the compare tray and the seasonal job ticks, all of which stay on your device. Full detail is in the privacy policy.
